Hello Darlings! What a gorgeous first week of Spring it is. Taking full advantage of the gorgeous weather, Thomas and I had date-day and spent the morning with coffee and breakfast, picked up some garden roses at the farmer’s market and had the most delicious cupcakes there, and explored one of our favorite neighborhoods, Land Park.
We perused the charming streets with the cutest homes, and the most beautiful blooms. (All this rain this season has really sprung all the flowers to life.) I wore this darling fit and flare blush dress from J Crew and tied a striped cardigan with cute bows on it over my shoulders, these Espadrilles kept the look casual and my feet comfy.
It’s no secret I love wearing dresses, but I usually don’t wear billowy dresses as It tends to be not very flattering on my frame. But this dress has completely changed my mind, I absolutely love the fit. It comes in petite which fits my shorter torso and the waist sits right where it is suppose to. I’m sure you gals over 5’2 don’t have the issue of the waist on dresses sitting on your hips, but for a petite 5’2 gal a petite fitted dress makes all the difference. I suggest you gals try new styles of dresses and experiment with how different sizes fits your body. Sometimes with a little bit of luck you may discover your new favorite fit, and it may not be what you thought you’d love.
We wandered by the most grand and beautiful arch of pink Camellias therefore it was the perfect location for some fun photos. I love it when we discover cool locations like this one by accident, it makes it feel so effortless you also get to know your neighborhood at the same time. If you guys are heading up north, Sacramento is worth a visit. It’s such an undiscovered gem with so much personality and color. I’d love to make a post about recommendations for some of my favorite eateries, soon.
you gals will see so much of this Cult Gaia purse, it truly is so versatile and is big enough to hold your keys, wallet, and even a water bottle. I got the size large and have been wearing it almost daily !
Just how gradiouse is this Camellia arch? It’s so perfect I had to admire it!
