To sit and watch the sunset take over the Parisian sky with the Eiffel tower glowing in gold, is one of the simple gifts of being in Paris. This location is on the right side of the Seine just a 5 minute walk down the Trocadero outlook. When I first saw this Zimmerman chiffon dress, I fell in love and knew I had to have it. When I received it, I tried it on and sadly it seemed like too much fabric and the length was not flattering, I didn’t have time to get it altereted to shorten the Hem, so I did the next best thing. Hemmed the dress with pins! It’s a trick fashion houses use all the time. The dress is also 50% off which is a steal for a great Zimmerman piece. The dress I got is in a size 2, but the sizes run big, I recommend purchasing a 00 if you are on the petite size. The chiffon is so soft and light, the piece is versatile and can be dressed up with heels , or worn casually with booties. The key to great closet pieces is the versatility to wear. I hope you gals found this helpful! I’ll be sharing more of my outfits from Paris so check back soon. Thank you for following along 🙂
Early morning sunrise we headed to the Trocadero stop to take in the views of the Eiffel tower. I can’t get over how perfect this Self Portrait dress is. It does run a bit small, so order a size up. I am wearing a size 4 here. The dress hugs right at the waist and falls just above the knees. The white collar and black cinch belt details are the perfect Parisian look. I’m also so happy I’ve got a chance to wear my Valentino shoes, I do wish I had gotten the 4 inch heels instead of the 1.5 but for the sake of comfort these were a smarter choice. You guys, I miss Paris so much! I really was hoping we can catch the twinkling lights with one of my outfits but in the fall months the lights don’t come on until 9pm. So if you are planning to do that, summer time would be better. Xx as always thanks for reading !
