Excited to be sharing a mini tour of our bedroom today. I’ve always loved the natural, low maintenance , yet sophisticated, and luxurious look and feel of Linen bedding. I’ve been obsessed with local LA brand, Parachute, and I’m currently so in love with their luxurious linen Bedding. Better yet, the linen comes in the perfect soft blush color. I’m so in love with this color , it’s too pretty! The linen is high quality; It’s thick but breathable linen and it gets butter soft with more washing. Details of furniture and items on the bottom of the full post below gals.
I’m also loving the vintage blue and white porcelain vase, bowls, and my lamp shade. It brings the whole look together without it feeling too “casual. The lamp shade is from Ralph Lauren home (currently sold out, but similar here , here, and here) . the lampshade is a nice off white cream color which complements the Parachute blush bedding. As you gals may have noticed, I added a marble slab to our West Elm side table to break up the wood and add a lighter color to bring more harmony to the room.
Little Olive loves taking siestas on our bed. Its funny, sometimes she sleeps like she’s a tiny human ,I swear! She’ll have her body under the covers and her head on the pillow. Most of the time we are both taking a mid day siesta on the sofa so I’m sure she loves it when she gets to take the whole bed to herself.
Some of my favorite magazines, and this one in particular is so special to my heart, Geraldine Magazine first issue, I was featured in their editorial. I photograph the editorial along with some amazing vendors. The magazine is sold nationwide in Anthropologie & Barnes and Nobles. The frame above is of Thomas and I and our first trip to Hawaii together a few years ago.
I love our rug from West Elm . It’s fuzzy and soft and fun.
